Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer

About this role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, process improvement, production planning, and engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and improve manufacturing and production processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
Develop and implement process improvements, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
Optimize manpower, machinery, materials, and production workflows.
Support production planning, capacity analysis, and resource allocation.
Conduct time studies, line balancing, and process capability analysis.
Identify opportunities to reduce production costs, waste, downtime, and material consumption.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and HSE teams.
Support the introduction of new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
Prepare engineering reports, production KPIs, process documentation, and improvement plans.
Investigate production issues and implement effective root-cause and corrective actions.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company quality, safety, and engineering standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Assist with equipment layout, factory layout, tooling, fixtures, and process flow improvements.
Maintain accurate technical and production documentation.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing or building materials is preferred
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of production processes and industrial equipment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
