How do I make an ATS CV?
Write it in one column with standard headings (Summary, Work Experience, Education, Skills) and plain text, with no tables, photos or text boxes. Use the job advert's own words for skills you really have, and send the file type the employer asks for. This generator applies that layout for you as you type, in Arabic or English.
What an ATS does with your CV
Many employers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf receive applications through an applicant tracking system, or ATS. The software stores each CV, extracts its text, and lets recruiters search and filter by job title, skills or location. So a recruiter often meets your CV first as extracted text, not as the design you chose.
That is why layout matters. A two-column template, a skills chart or contact details inside an image can come out in the wrong order, or not at all. A plain CV loses nothing in that step. No layout can promise a result, but a clean one takes formatting off the list of reasons to be missed.
ATS CV rules that matter for UAE and Gulf jobs
- One column, top to bottom. Name and contact details first, then summary, experience, education, skills, certifications and languages.
- Standard headings. Parsers look for "Work Experience" and "Education", not creative titles.
- Real text only. No tables, text boxes, icons or photos. Every line this generator prints is selectable text.
- Contact details as text. A mobile number with its country code (+971, +966), an email you check, and your city and country.
- Dates on every role. Month and year for the start and the end.
- The advert's keywords. If the posting says "accounts payable", write "accounts payable" rather than only "billing", as long as it is true.
The generator lays out the first four for you. The last two depend on what you write; the form warns you when a date is missing.
Arabic and English CV: which one to send
Write your CV in the language of the job advert. Most private-sector roles in Dubai and Abu Dhabi ask for English, while many government and customer-facing employers across the Gulf welcome an Arabic CV. If you apply to both, keep two separate CVs rather than one bilingual document; one language per file is easier for the system and the recruiter.
You choose the CV language in step 1, on either page. An Arabic CV runs right to left with Arabic headings, while English words such as Excel or SAP, email addresses and phone numbers stay readable inside it. Switching it changes headings and direction but does not translate your text. The 24 hours of edits after payment cover a language switch too, so you can download one version, rewrite it in the other language and download again.
ATS CV template in PDF and Word
AED 20 gets you both files of the same CV.
- PDF looks the same on every phone and computer. Use it when you email a recruiter or a portal accepts PDF.
- Word (.docx) stays editable and stores Arabic as real right-to-left text. Some portals read Word files more reliably, so it suits an Arabic CV when the portal accepts it. Page breaks may differ slightly from the PDF, so check it before sending.
Follow the advert. If it names no format, send the PDF to people and the Word file to portals that ask for .docx.
How to write each section of an ATS CV
Contact details
Full name, mobile number with country code, email, city and country, and LinkedIn if it is up to date. Skip your date of birth and passport number unless the advert asks.
Professional summary
Three or four lines: your job title, years of experience, the field you work in, and one result with a number. Write it for the job you want next, not the one you have.
Work experience
Newest first: job title, company, city, start and end month. Then three to six bullet points per role, each starting with a verb, with a number wherever you have one.
Education
Highest qualification first: degree, major, institution and graduation date. Add your grade only if it helps you.
Skills
Eight to fifteen practical skills in the advert's words: software, tools, licences and methods. Prove traits like "hard-working" in your bullet points instead.
Certifications and languages
Each certificate with its issuer and date, such as PMP. Each language with an honest level; recruiters often test it in the interview.
Example bullet points for your work experience
A strong bullet says what you did and what changed because of it. Adapt these to your own facts, and never add a number you could not explain in an interview.
- Sales: Grew monthly branch sales by 22% in one year by introducing weekly product training.
- Customer service: Handled 60+ customer calls a day in Arabic and English while keeping satisfaction at 92%.
- Logistics: Scheduled 40+ shipments a week across the GCC and reduced late-delivery costs by 18%.
"Responsible for stock" tells a recruiter almost nothing; "Ran weekly stock counts for three stores and cut shrinkage by 9%" says a lot in one line.
What AED 20 includes
Building and previewing your CV are free, with no account. The watermarked preview shows every page, so you see exactly what you would pay for.
Downloading costs AED 20 once, with no subscription, and unlocks the PDF and Word files without the watermark. For 24 hours after payment you can fix anything and download again, on the same browser; after that, a new payment opens a new 24-hour window. Download both files on the device you paid on before you switch.
Stripe handles the payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. If something is wrong with your files, or you paid by mistake, contact the JobFlick team or email info@jobflick.app; refund requests are reviewed one by one.

How much does an ATS CV cost in the UAE?
JobFlick charges AED 20 once for PDF and Word files, with no subscription. Zety's 14-day trial (about $1.95–2.95) renews, as of October 2026, at $25.95 every 4 weeks, and a Khamsat gig starts at $5 for a one-page PDF, with Word +$10.

No. Your CV content stays in this browser. No JobFlick account required. Stripe collects payment details and a receipt email.
Can I edit my CV after paying?
Yes, for 24 hours from payment, on the same browser. To move your draft to another device, use "Download backup" and then "Load backup". Keep that file private: saved after paying, it restores the purchase too.
Can I get a refund?
If your files do not work or you paid by mistake, contact us through the contact page and we will look at your request.
Is this an AI CV generator?
No. It formats what you type and does not write for you. For help with wording, the AI CV Coach for UAE job seekers is a separate JobFlick app feature, in JobFlick Plus at AED 29 a month.
