The problem

A good CV and a competitive CV are different things

Most CVs that get ignored are not badly written. They are written for no job in particular โ€” a general document sent to a specific advert, missing the exact requirements and vocabulary that advert asked for. Recruiters and applicant tracking systems both filter on specifics, and a general CV has none.

Rating your CV against a real job description turns a vague worry into a fixable list.

๐ŸŽฏ

Score against the advert you are actually applying to. A universal "CV score out of 100" tells you nothing you can act on. Fit against a named job tells you exactly what to change before you hit send.

What you get

A list of fixes, not a grade

Match score

How closely your CV evidences what this specific advert asked for โ€” so you know whether to apply now or fix it first.

Requirements you meet

The ones your CV already proves. Useful for writing the cover note and for knowing what to lead with in an interview.

Gaps you can close

Requirements your CV never addresses. Many are things you have actually done but never wrote down.

Missing keywords

Vocabulary the advert leans on that appears nowhere in your CV โ€” the single most common reason an ATS ranks a qualified person low.

How it works

Four steps, about five minutes

1

Add your CV

Import a file you already have, or use the profile you built in the CV builder. Nothing needs retyping.

2

Paste the job description

Use the real advert. Scoring against an actual job is what makes the output worth reading.

3

Read the gaps

Match score, met requirements, missed requirements, and absent keywords โ€” in plain language.

4

Fix it and re-check

Edit in the builder, run the check again, and confirm the gaps actually closed before you apply.

Straight answer on pricing

Your first analysis is free. Here is the catch.

Creating an account and running your first CV analysis costs nothing and needs no card. After that, unlimited analyses are part of JobFlick Plus at AED 29 per month.

We ask for an account rather than offering an anonymous instant score because every analysis runs a real AI model at real cost. Tools that offer unlimited anonymous scoring either get drained by bots or quietly downgrade to a keyword count dressed up as intelligence.

Questions

CV rater FAQ

Is the CV rater free?

Your first CV analysis is free once you create a JobFlick account โ€” no card required. After that, unlimited CV versus job description analysis is part of JobFlick Plus at AED 29 per month. We ask for an account because each analysis runs a real AI model, and an open tool would be drained by bots rather than used by job seekers.

What does the CV score actually measure?

It measures fit against one specific job description, not some universal CV quality rating. You get the requirements your CV clearly evidences, the ones it does not, and the vocabulary the advert uses that your CV never mentions. A score against a real advert is actionable; a generic score out of 100 is not.

Will this tell me if my CV passes an ATS?

It shows you the keyword and requirement gaps that cause applicant tracking systems to rank you low, which is the part you can actually control. No tool can guarantee a specific employer's ATS configuration, and any tool claiming to is guessing.

Do I need to upload a file?

You can import an existing CV file, or skip uploading entirely and score the profile you already built in the JobFlick CV builder.

What happens to my CV data?

Your CV is stored against your JobFlick account so you can re-run checks and keep improving it. You can delete your account and its data at any time from the app or from the account deletion page.
